Overnight Oats
A gentle start to the day that works for you while you sleep. Overnight oats are the perfect way to get your Verdi Skin collagen in without the hassle - creamy, filling and just the right amount of gentleness for your body. Prepare the night before, wake up to a ready-made breakfast that gives your skin a little extra care from the inside out.
Ingredients (1 serving)
- 1 scoop Verdi Skin Marine Collagen
- 1 dl oatmeal
- 1 dl milk or plant-based drink (e.g. oat or almond)
- 0.5 dl yogurt or plant-based yogurt
- 1 tsp chia seeds (optional but gives a nice texture)
- 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
- A pinch of vanilla powder or cinnamon (optional)
- Toppings (optional)
Fresh berries, sliced banana, nuts or seeds
How do you do it?
- Choose your jar
Get out a small jar or bowl with a lid. Preferably one that you enjoy looking at - it makes the morning a little more pleasant even before coffee. - Mix the base
Pour in the oatmeal, milk/herbal drink, yogurt and chia seeds. Add the collagen powder and stir well so everything is mixed evenly. - Season carefully
Drizzle with honey or maple syrup if you want a little sweetness, and add a pinch of vanilla or cinnamon for a smooth flavor. - Let time do the work.
Cover and refrigerate overnight - at least 4 hours, preferably longer. During this time, the oats will absorb the liquid and become wonderfully creamy. - Top and enjoy
In the morning you take out the jar, top it with whatever you're craving that day and eat it slowly. A simple breakfast that feels more like a little ritual than a must.
