The Founder's Journey

The idea for Verdi Skin grew out of my own journey. In my mid-30s, I started to notice how my body was changing – my skin didn’t feel as supple as before, my hair and nails were changing, and my body wasn’t recovering the way it used to.

I started looking for collagen that had the quality I was looking for. For me, it wasn't just about the content, but also about transparency – knowing where the ingredients come from and how they are produced.

The marine collagen felt cleaner, lighter and more natural for the body to absorb. The fact that it was also produced in Norway, with raw materials from controlled and sustainable fishing, was crucial for me.

That became the foundation of Verdi Skin – the belief that with the right products, results come from within.

"Verdi" means value in Norwegian – and it is the foundation of everything we do. For us, "Verdi" is about creating real value at every stage: from the origin of the raw material, to how the product is produced and absorbed by the body. Clear, honest and without compromise.

Our marine collagen comes from sustainable, Nordic marine sources in the North Atlantic, where the raw material is recovered as a by-product of the fishing industry to minimize waste and protect the ocean's resources. The cold, clean water creates optimal conditions for the highest quality raw materials.

The collagen is produced in Norway through a gentle enzymatic hydrolysis process, where long collagen chains are broken down into small, easily absorbable peptides with very high bioavailability.

The raw material is natural, pure and easily soluble, with low heavy metal content and completely free of artificial additives and preservatives. We collaborate with carefully selected and certified producers who share our high demands for quality, traceability and sustainability.

What started as a personal journey is now a shared responsibility within Verdi Skin. We are driven by the same philosophy in everything we do: quality before shortcuts, purity before compromises, and a long-term perspective before quick fixes.
